Gloucestershire.-- Col Ord, commanding the 1st Gloucestershire Volunteer Artillery, reports that nine officers and 220 non-commissioned officers and men have signed to take active service at the front. [For service in South Africa, the unit was not required in S. A. as the Army had enough Artillery there. so some members went and joined the Imperial Yeomanry at Bath, and went to South Africa.]
